During the mask shortage earlier this year, a longtime IMAHelps volunteer, Susan St. Louis, set up a sewing team partnered with Eisenhower Medical Center utilizing 3M filtrates to create masks for health care workers and others.
At the beginning of the pandemic, IMAHelps received a generous donation of 1,000 masks, along with various supplies including hand sanitizer and gloves, from 2019 volunteer Dr. Chong-hao Zhao. IMAHelps volunteers set out to donate hundreds of masks and other PPE supplies in combination with dental health items, vitamins, and much more to local organizations including Coachella Valley Rescue Mission and Riverside County Young Farmers & Ranchers.

If you would like to participate in our annual local missions throughout the Coachella Valley in which we provide aid and assistance, please show us your interest by applying on our “Get Involved” page and selecting “Local Missions”. Volunteering locally is a great way to give care and comfort to the community’s most vulnerable and for students to earn school volunteer hours.
