During their mission, 90 IMAHelps volunteers logged 2,356 internal medicine triage and clinic consultations; 853 pediatric consultations; 503 cardiology consultations; 400 dental consultations; 54 prosthetic consultations; and 54 physical therapy treatments. They also performed 35 plastic surgeries; 21 orthopedic surgeries; 43 general surgeries; 11 obstetrics surgeries and 92 ophthalmology surgeries.
Allen said IMAHelps volunteers raised $73,966 in cash donations for the Matagalpa mission, which provided an estimated $3,488,355 in healthcare services. That makes for a return on investment (ROI) of $47.16 for every dollar donated to IMAHelps.
